Recalls

Hey everyone, Josh at TheLoganZone here, and I’ve put together a super helpful resource for checking if your car has any safety recalls. It’s something we should all do, and I’ve made it easy for you. Below you’ll find everything you need to make sure your ride is safe and up-to-date on all manufacturer recalls.

The Official Source: NHTSA

First things first, the most important link you’ll need is the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) VIN checker. This is the official U.S. government database for all vehicle recalls. Just enter your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to see if there are any open recalls for your car.

Top Car Brands: Quick Links

While the NHTSA link is your one-stop-shop to seeing if a recall exists for your vehicle, sometimes it’s easier to go directly to the manufacturer’s website to see if your recall has been completed. Here’s a list of the top car brands in the U.S. and their direct recall lookup pages.

If your vehicle has an open recall that the Remedy is Available for, the repair will be performed free of charge by any authorized dealership for your brand. Contact your local dealer’s service department to schedule an appointment. Do not delay—addressing safety recalls promptly is critical for your safety and the safety of others.

I hope this helps everyone stay on top of their vehicle’s safety. Feel free to share this page with your friends and family—it’s important information for all drivers.

Drive safe, everyone!
